Self-Defense issues addressed at AS event

Representatives from several of Pasadena’s martial arts studios gathered in the Quad on Tuesday to participate in Self-Defense Awareness Day, an event dedicated to the memory PCC professor Mark Epstein, a self-defense instructor who died in March.

Journalism students take home top honors

Journalism students won a dozen prizes, including the Magazine General Excellence award, at the annual Journalism Association of Community College State Convention held at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in downtown Los Angeles from April 8-10.
