WEB EXCLUSIVE – The PCC Women’s basketball team began their season with an impressive win over Southwestern College on Friday during the first round of the Hilton Garden Inn Classic at the Hutto-Patterson Gym.

PCC’s women’s soccer was victorious 2-0 over the visiting East Los Angeles College Huskies in a conference match on Tuesday at Robinson Stadium.

Marcie Ambrose, campus use specialist, sits in the cornered crease of the C Building where she has seen all matters of frantic pace and distressed steps sound and scurry in a day stretched blur. For those willing to slow their anxiety, opting to instead ask for direction, her office in the information hut welcomes you with gentle sounds, trickling water, worldly music, and an ever sweet and available candy dish.

It was a sight to see: elaborate skull costumes, dozens awaiting skeletal face makeovers, regular Frida Kahlo sightings, hundreds dancing to the beat of folkloric drumming and admirable altar offerings to those departed all found its niche in Hollywood Forever Cemetery’s 9th annual Dia De Los Muertos celebration on Saturday.
