Just Because Gas Prices are Down, Don’t Revert to Wasteful Habits

The high gas prices, though, are a blessing in disguise. Traffic has been decreasing while the number of people using alternative modes of transportation such as mopeds, motorcycles, and bicycles have been on the rise.

Pula Valuable on Both Sides of the Football

The Lancer football team at PCC has one of these rare players on their roster. Freshman Roman Pula, is going to be pulling double duty for the Lancers this season at both running back and linebacker. This type of gifted athlete is usually referred to as a two-way player.

Although the new season of water polo began with a disappointing 0-4 start at the Sep. 5-6 Saddleback Tournament, Head Coach Terry Stoddard felt that the event provided valuable experience for his team.

WEB EXCLUSIVE – PCC and El Camino-Compton Center put on an offensive showcase, but the Tartar defense was able to come up with big plays on defense and handed the Lancers their second loss of the young season, 42-34 and Tay Brown Stadium in Compton.

A former PCC football player returned to the football field for PCC’s opener against Mt. San Antonio College. Except he wasn’t playing for the Lancers.Gabriel Tuata a former Lancer running back revisited his old football field for the first game since last season, but in a different uniform.
