It looks like PCC football’s season will end officially on November 17, when they play a rescheduled game against Santa Ana. They have been prohibited from post-season play because they participated in an illegal preseason scrimmage against East LA. If they were eligible for the post season, the game against Santa Ana would have simply been cancelled.I know not many people care about Men’s professional tennis, but the sport seems to be on the verge of crumbling right in front of our eyes. Accusations and probes have been initiated regarding Nikolay Davydenko throwing matches, and news broke today that Tommy Haas might have been poisoned before a match in September.

Both of these instances smell of possible gambling influences, as both players in question were extremely high favorites. Losses from these players would create huge payouts for potential gamblers betting heavy on the underdogs. Red flags went up and investigations have begun.

To top it all off, a player was shown on German television, with his voice distorted, saying that players could make more taking money from gamblers then winning matches. Multiple players have also admitted that they have been offered money to fix matches. If there are offers consistently coming so often, then people must be taking them.
