Black Tiger: Hunter Hunted at 11:45am in the Creveling Lounge

– The 2015 Asian Pacific Islander Visiting Scholar, Priscilla Hervey, will present the 2014 film Black Tiger: Hunter Hunted. This film won the Spirit of Comic Con Award for 2014, and it features an Asian American female superhero as the lead.

“Pasadena Pursuit” from 12pm to 5pm at Pasadena Museum of History

– The interactive exhibit “Pasadena Pursuit” is drawn from the headlines of local newspapers, designed as a three-dimensional game board to test guests’ knowledge of local history. The fun, engaging exhibition “Mystery History” features historic photographs, artworks, and artifacts from the museum’s collection, challenging visitors to identify the locations and historical significance of the photos. Both go on through March 29 each Wed., Thurs., Fri., Sat., and Sun.

– The opening of Level Ground’s 2015 Film + Art Festival Opening Night, the country’s first faith-based, LGBT Film Festival in Pasadena each spring. Level Ground creates space for dialogue about faith, gender and sexuality through the arts and festival programming.

– Pasadena City College’s Cross Cultural Center presents The Hip-Hop Forum featuring Terrace Martin, a hip-hop producer who has produced for artists including Snoop Dogg and Kendrick Lamar; DJ/producer Ali Shaheed Muhammad, best known as a member of A Tribe Called Quest; rapper Bad Lucc; self-proclaimed “Jane-of-all-Trades” Ill Camille; and Yo-Yo, an American hip hop artist and actress whose music advocates female empowerment.
