Counterparts hypes up local hardcore scene

Share: Counterparts kicked off their fall 2019 tour on Oct. 24 at the 1720 warehouse in Downtown Los Angeles to celebrate the release of their new album, “Nothing Left to Love.” The show was presented by PinUp Productions, who hosts events all over the west coast and supports the local music scene. The disappointing return of Popeyes’ chicken sandwich

Share: With drive-thru lines clogging traffic and people waiting up to 30 minutes for “fast food,” the legendary chicken sandwich from Popeyes made it’s highly anticipated return on Nov. 3 after a nearly two month hiatus. However, upon first bite, instead of a juicy succulent chicken with their renowned spicy mayo spread, the overwhelming acidity and sourness of pickles overpowers any flavor Popeyes was trying to go for. Star-filled ‘Last Christmas’ cast can’t save horrible script

Share: A Christmas movie with Daenerys Targaryen from “Game of Thrones,” Nick Young from “Crazy Rich Asians,” and a soundtrack primarily comprised of George Michael sounds almost too good to be true—and it was. “Last Christmas” stars a fantastic cast with actors Emilia Clarke, Henry Golding, Emma Thompson and Michelle Yeoh. Unfortunately, even their incredible acting couldn’t mask the film’s poor attempt to incorporate the entire kitchen sink of political and social issues in its plot.  Follow:

DTLA Hive Gallery hosts Haunted Mansion inspired art

The Haunted 2: Welcome Foolish Mortals encompasses an illusory and anatomical ambiance that was designed by Pengu Labs.
